Default Sry, but more questions

I hate to keep coming to the forums and bothering people, but whenever I ask a question in-game, no one will answer me. Either people are more clueless than me, (which I doubt), or just not very helpful.

Either way, I'm a level 8, pre searing, alomst level 9 and I've just been asked to do the Sir Titus thingy, which is apparently pretty final. However before I do that I have a bunch of stuff in my inventory that I'm not sure what to do with. I have been saving bear pelts, iron ingets, cloth, etc and they take up a lot of slots. Should I hold on to that or sell?

Also, can I use a focus item now, or do I need to move on first? I also have a pearl and feather that says they are quest items that I've been holding on to thinking I may need them, but as of yet nothing.

As I said, I hate to keep asking here, but the folks here are a LOT more helpful than in-game. I've been trying avoid the help guides on the GW site as much as I can, so I can be surprised by what happens rather than know before hand.

Thx for any replys.

Oh and one more thing. I have 4 dyes in my inventory and about 1200 gold. should I sell the dyes now or wait? Thx again.

I wouldn't bet money on that if I were you.

In the item description any thing that says "salvage" do so unless it's a colored item. For colored items wait until you complete the Academy (The Sir Tydus thingy) and purchase an Expert Salvage kit. Toss or sell the bear pelts. The items labeled Crafting materials hold on to, you will most likely need them when you hit Ascalon after the Academy.

You can use a focus at any time, it is an off-hand item that adds bonuses. If you're using a two-handed item then the off-hand item has no effect. You can still equip it it just won't give you the bonus until you un-equip the 2 handed weapon.
The Pearl and the Feather are for the "Perfect Gift" quest. You can get it from Captian Osric just outside the Ascalon main gates. You'll also need the pendant which is located in a chest just up the hill from where the bandits were holding the Strongbox.

I understand completely. I would suggest that you check out this site and GW online though. They both have excellent guides that you can use as resources as needed without looking everything up.

HOLD ON TO THE DYES. Especially silver and black which are extremely rare.

I believe bear pelts are for a quest. (not sure) if they are a salvage item then salvage.
Save the iron, cloth, and all items you can make armor and weapons out of.
Pearl and Feather are for the broken gwen quest, It is your choice.
You can use a focus item right now.
Wait and sell the dyes at a dye trader.

Bear pelts are indeed for a quest; you only need one and they become obsolete in post-searing. I suggest you keep materials because you'll find better armor requires materials and money to buy.

The pearl and feather are not for the quest from Gwen. They're for the quest that Captain Osric gives outside of the Ascalon City gates after having a little conversation with Prince Rurik.
